Qualified 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations

Domestic Electrical

Our fully trained, qualified and experienced electricians undertake a variety of electrical installations as well as general repairs and maintenance. All domestic (Part P) work is carried out in accordance with the latest 18th edition wiring regulations including relevant certification and notification procedures.

Safety First

Think of your fuse board as the main hub of your home – its the ‘distribution centre’ to all electrical aspects in your home.

If you are having electrical work carried out, you may need to upgrade to a new consumer unit in order to comply with the regulations. Similarly, if your old fuse board is overloaded and starting to cause problems for the remainder of the installation, or your property is in need of a re-wire, upgrading to a new board would be recommended.

The safety of any new electrical work you have done (however small) will depend on the earthing arrangements. Our qualified electricians will be able to give you advice if your earthing needs to be improved for safety reasons.

Electrical Installations

Electricity is part of our lives. We use it from the moment we wake up and throughout the day. As a result, we sometimes forget how powerful and dangerous it can be.

It is important that any electrical installation work is carried out only by people who are competent. This means people who have the knowledge, skills and experience needed to avoid dangers to themselves and others that electricity can create.

It is easy to make an electrical circuit work – it is far harder to make the circuit work safely.
